I was a noob to the whole modding scene when I stumbled onto this site a year or two ago. I was looking to play imports on my original xbox Crystal, thanks to this site, Forahobby and a few other good samaritans I managed it quite successfully! The only problem is that I still have not been able to swap harddrives to a bigger one to enable me to store a tonne of junk on it but I'm not really loosing sleep over it to be fair.
Anyway I think I was just googling away one day trying to find places that sold mod chips, I found a few stores but they had all appeared to have dried up long ago. It actually took me a few weeks to realise that I didn't necessarily need a chip, and I then began hearing about the whole Mech Assault exploit and bobs your uncle, I was posting on another site about it when someone told me to check this place out and here I am!
This site is awesome, very helpful and has a nice close nit community and I just wanted to thank Forahobby and the others who Ican't remember that helped. thanks!

I have watched this site and the old xbox-hq site grow and grow for years and years from a pretty close view.
