You have got to be (put your profanity here) kidding me Microsoft! I got a email telling me my subscription renewal would be 49.99 for xbox live and then a day later I received a email stating that they increased it to 59.99 explaining that it was still only 5 dollars a month for a 12 month subscription. Thank you Microsoft for trying and giving me a math lesson but I figured it out in my head pretty quick. What my problem is here is that we here in the U.S.A are still in the middle of a bad recession which you would think Microsoft would realize and maybe not do a price increase! Also in the immortal words of Janet Jackson....what have you done for me lately Microsoft? This is simply a case of a corporation being greedy and stupid. But wait we are talking about Microsoft after all...why should I be amazed? Okay rant over...let me know what you guys think. _________________________________________________________
I been hearing about this for awhile now.. they must be having a hard time with their wallet too so they gotta increase all the prices (LMAO yea right!!)? Yea they may be adding a couple more features to the dash, but havent they done this before with no charge?? Like netflix and facebook, ect. and there wasnt an increase of service for us, and you know m$ is getting paid to have that stuff on there too, otherwise it wouldn't be LOL. It surely is corporate greed going on there. Plus what better way to get even more money outta ppl than to make them pay for a service and then ban them if they have a modified console (which i think is perfectly fine because you own it), and then force them to buy a new console, providing them with more money. But like you said, we are talking about good ol' micro$oft here, bill likes to take things from ppl lol. _________________________________________________________

I particularly like your reference to Janet Jackson. You would hope it would push more players of games like COD to XBSLink or Xkai Link (if they were easy enough to understand/set up).
Don't you think Bill Gates and all the top bods at m$ have been affected by the recession to, they have families to feed and 10 bedroom mansions to keep warm through the winter.
