Started a new Topic on the subject BC MP ( for beginners ) Actually not only for beginners but for everyone who play BC and has something he/she could drop to help new MP'ers getting going.... A thought on a MP subject for me would be ; first rule of BC1 find out what the objective is....BC is NOT COD MW2.....COD is about killing as many of the enemy as you can...BC is about defending or attacking a position...so, now i have to work out what that actually means in gameplay....off i go"
Plz feel free to share any thoughts you have on this subject ...
Greetings

Hey that's a great idea Sternchen. I am new to BC1 MP and am going to go in now.. I suspect I have a lot to learn when it comes to using vehicles, it seems crazy not to use them, but i HATE driving games...but first thoughts are tanks are for firing at a distance, trucks are for getting you from one place to another quickly. See ya in the field

Maybe i am getting carried away, but this might just be one of the best MP's I have played. I have done COD MW2, BC2 and Red Dead Redemption and there is something special about BC1. As always, i am completely useless at it. Half of the time i have no idea what is going on....BUT i came top five a couple of times....and didnt come last at all...so, not bad for a first toe in the water.....takes of his boots before considering going back into battle..hehe

Guys I absolutely love the battlefield series and is what made me get my xbox 360 in the first place i think.. lol.. It's amazing when you get really good at everything and fly the chopper, drive the tanks using all the best moves..
I've played in some crazy online clan games where we have won by heaps and other where we got flogged.. hahhaha
anyway, great topic to start. hopefully some of our other battlefield clan guys are reading and will get involved!

Is it just me, or are Friday night MP sessions faster than any other night..anyway, its back to the drawing board once more. After my reasonable start to BC1 MP, i barely got out of the bottom three the rest of the time. I play Assault, because i like to run around but I just dont get them kills. Things got a bit better with the XM8, but I find that in any head to head, the enemy always seems to kill me, even though i get a ton of bullets into them first. I don't / won't / will never use Aim Assist. I suppose the first thing i need to find out, are others playing with Aim Assist in BC1 MP?
Love your site btw ForaHobby, feel like its becoming my home....strange that, but you are certainly doing something right - this is the first gaming site i have ever got involved with (lol, thats why i ramble on so much). N.B Just decided i am going to start a blog - am going to call it ScrewyLoot Logic - lets see where that takes us..hehe
Hey ScrewyLoot, its just you ... ( mmhh joke i think )
Well what a startout on the MP sessions
I am not sure about Aim assist, havent even checked if its possible
to use assist in MP i NEVER use Aim, remember when we tried in RDR Screwy ? It was simply not a decent game anymore, all becomes just pushing the buttons a bit quicker than the other, and NO skill what so ever i would say. Driving Veichles seee thats the thing !!! OMG
Think we acted like an ol' married couple in that part of the game, and i got the big big giggle. You shouting at me, and me getting cross and out of the tanks, just to jump in with some other guys to find out they were even worse getting us killed all the time, conclusion on that one was, i got back to driving with you, using earplugs and that worked part, but the game is/was difficult. I find there are some bugs in it too, few times i killed an ally because i couldnt see if blue or red beeing to close, and when i saw how many points i lost on that i decided to go the hard road letting them kill me instead if the nametag didnt show up.
We got started, it was FUN, but gosh, back to beeing a NOOB....

How you have the cheak to critisise my driving....geesh! Anyway, it was a great first night in BC MP. As you suggested, it might be necessary to finish the Single Player in order to get this skills for MP...BUT...i do think there are a couple of things that might make a difference. Firstly, as Noob's we should be either stood by the Gold Crates to defend them, or running / driving / flying like crazy to to attack them. The problem is, if on foot, you get scoped at a distance. So, i think i am going to have a look at the Recon weapons to see how effective they are at distance work. Then, as the action gets closer, switch to Assault. As you know, i LOVe the mid range stuff, unlike you, MissMelee, who likes to look them close in the eyes as yer stick and twist that blade into them. My advice to anyone out there joining Stern in combat, don't get in a tank with her, OR get her cross, she has no problem meleeing the enemy Or her friends....lol
Great warning to the other players dear Screwy, i got a new hobby, am going to collect dogtags, see THATS fun, found out to my breakfast this morn, grinz....

Im going to digg out my original Bad Company 1 disc this week and give you guys a game. It's been quite a while since i've played BC1.. I've been playing a fair bit of BC2 and MW2 lately, oh, and ofcourse my ROCK BANK/Guitar Hero Drums on EXPERT +.. (lol).. you will soon learn that.. hahah
Good to see you guys are both getting used to the site and how its laid out.. Once you take a few moments it all becomes clearer and pretty easy to use.
oh, and lastly, if you find interesting info from another site just post the info in the forums and give us a link.. We may even write up a news story about it.

Would be great to join you on the BC1 field Hobbs.
Regarding HQ.com, like most things to do with computer software, it's all a bit confusing at first. But the site works well. You have included a VAST amount of topics and information and you make an assumption - that the people who visit the site are intelligent and can work it out. I agree with your approach.
I think Stern is going to start a MOH WarRoom and that should prove interesting. I think we both realise BC1 is old hat now, but its a good way to learn how things work round here. heehee!
So, i am going to be on the look out for MOH info, coz i want to gain an unfair advantage over the enemy - lol.
