no actually it dosent hardly put any heat off at all just a small amount from the main processer posibly which i placed away from the x-clamps and towards the surface just to be safe and i will be putting a fan in there as well for all around added protection but its a lcd screen wich dosent put out any heat at all so it should be fine.and yes its hd as long as its on a hd channel of cours.thanks for the reply _________________________________________________________

Wow, now out from under my rock,... This is actually the first I have heard of a 360 slim, other than mods. It already out in stores and everything? How did I miss that?

thanks for the comments guys,it actually didnt cost aall that much hobbs.i just used a little imagination,the lcd actually came from a portable dvd player we didnt use any more so my girlfriend let me tear it apart lol,and the leds i actually got a strand of those new led christmas lights for like 5 bucks i think and striped them out of it and i ended up with like 100 of them i believe lol. _________________________________________________________
