Hello i was just curious. Now that Xbox 360 has taken over the world with its online splendour, i was wondering if anyone still has he urge to boot up halo on the emulator system. I mean you can't chat to someone else while they are playing a completely different game, you cannot send and recieve messages from other games while playing, i was just wondering, has Halo 2 multiplayer lost its dazzeling appeal now that the next generation has taken over? Just a thought and i would love to hear your thoughts on the matter .
Thanks,

Personally i thought i would be playing alot of halo 2 on the 360 but i only played it twice.. lol.. Once i started getting some nice games like GRAW, battlefield etc halo just didnt do me anymore..
I know for a fact though that lots of latecomers to the xbox 1 are still playing halo2 on 360 since they didnt play much on xbox..
But, its all good.. Halo 2 is a kickass game for starters.. I love it but am just way too much into next gen now to go backwards. I still have my colectors edition halo 2 and will hang onto it no doubt just incase.

Yeah, I still play halo 2 on my 360 all the time. It took awhile to get used to the 360 controller, and not having use of the guide really sucks. I did notice that on the map lockout, sometimes I get a weird texture glitch that I didn't get on the old xbox. Also backwash lags for some reason. I attribute those two glitches to the emulation.
I don't think i'll ever stop playing it. The balance of gameplay is something that any online 360 game has not matched, imho. If you compair Halo (multiplayer) to PDZ (multiplayer), pdz is like a laughing stock. I played for about 15 mins and was not impressed to say the least. Anyone else feel the same? _________________________________________________________

But say compare it to battlefield 2 or GRAW and their online gameplay??
I personally think halo2 is good still but it has nothing on battlefield or GRAW online..

yeah, I agree Hobbs, GRAW an BF2 both are top notch games, and I load up BF2 way more than Halo. There're just different types of games, the way you play them that is. Like grenade/melee and close combat fighting. That's what made Halo so great to me. Also game variety, like assult, flag, oddball, etc. The rank system was also very addictive for a while, and with each rank, your learning curve just got greater. Still, i think (so far, in my honest opinion) no other game has the *absolute magic* that Halo has or once had.
One other note also, I don't think they have truly tapped the full potential graphically for the 360 yet. By the time Halo 2 came out they knew how to push the hardware to the max. Definitely looking forward to the future of gaming... _________________________________________________________
tell the truth hobbs. halo2 aint got shiit on those mothafukkas. lol yea i agree i played halo 2 but after graw and bf2 and all the other games, halo2 can lick my balz _________________________________________________________ XBOX
