LOL, Thanks JAyoz, yes it's a HDTV. Syntax group Olevia 32'' LCD that I've had since 2004. I'll probably be updating to a 42" or 50" plasma here soon.. Maybe for my birthday in November or the next tax season, for now I'm happy with what I have. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

Ohh your going for one of the big boys toys. My mate brought a 50" LCD rear projector, it maybe bigger but mine has the better picture quality.
I was speaking with a techie bloke at work yesterday and he recons for 40"+ TV you want to look at 1080p (progressive scan), now i'm not up with all this stuff and i'm not sure if any TVs are even out that support it. But he said that because of the way the big boys have to kind of blow up the image that interlaced produces a lag at them sizes.
Buggered if I know, but it sounds good. _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1

To be honest I don't know the difference between 1080i and 1080p? I know my LCD supports 1080i but I have mine set at 720p just because I read somewhere that this resolution was better for LCD and Plasma TV's.. Thanks for the advice on the 1080P, that's what I'll be looking for with my next LCD or Plasma purchase, some good info there. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

Sweet.. I bet that sub rocks the room when your playing your 360..
Thanks for sharing your pics..
Soon enough you will be able to upload a pic of your setup directly to your profile area.. This way you can show off all over the place when people go looking through your profile on HQ!

Thanks Hobbs, the sub is a Velodyne 12" sub with two Polk Monitor 70's for the front mains and two Polk Monitor 50's for the rear surround. No center channel yet, this shit got expensive really quick. I really want to upgrade my tv but I'm broke as hell after upgrading my sound. This gives me plenty of time to shop around and see what's up for the holidays. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3
