Does anyone know if you can use a xbox 360 hard drive on your pc?
I'm going to upgrade my 20gb one to a western digital 250gb and was gonna use the 20gb as a normal pc hard drive... if possible. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

Hi div,
I can't imagine why it would be difficult, but like always you never know..
I haven't tried this personally but this is how i would approach it.
i would run xplorer360 and backup everything just to be safe There may even be some newer hdd tools in our homebrew database - http://homebrew.360-hq.com
I would have thought you would just format it for your OS once you could get it recognized by your PC with some homebrew tools.
Here is a link to a tutorial which i have written for the site which may help you.. I have done some research and a few people have used this method and it works just great..

Cheers for the tut, worked a charm.
Put a western digital 250gb drive in my xbox 360 (no more noisy dvd drive) and bought a 2.5" caddy for the 20gb xbox hard drive, pucka! _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
