Having the Newest update from Xbox Live many places to get this update and put on your banned console.
You should be able to take your profile from a non banned console on a xbox 360 hard drive to a banned console play a game or so and and save it, then go back to the non banned xbox and still have that save good and your profile should not go corrupt. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

I did the update to mine the other day. Not sure if media extender works, haven't tried it yet.
The only thing is you loose your Avatar. So M$ did know it would unbrick the hard drive and thought of another way to be spiteful. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

Hey DIV,
When you say you lose your avatar?? Do you mean you can still login with your xbox live account??
Brizzel mentioned that accounts are still blacklisted.. I'm just trying to find out for sure if you can logon with an xbox live profile and get some achievements again.
Lot's of my buddies are asking and i don't have time to confirm it myself.

Might be a coinsidence, but i just put in Dantes Inferno for the first time and now my avatar is back.

hold on a second here guys, there was many different bannings in the last update, so we have to be sure we are on the same track.
1)Console ban - bricking the hd to the banned console
2)profile ban - lost your gamertag to xbox live flagging
3)Hardware ban only - 3rd party memory units were flagged.
I myself got the console ban, uncrippled the hd and put in a non-banned console and my profile updated np.
