Well i recently got a new 360 with this stupid drive in it, was working on modding it using this method http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=698256 and i had let it sit overnight and someone moved it ripping off the wire i had soldered to the pin 101 along with the whole trace and pad... i didnt get to dump the drive yet, i been looking up on it and see some things for repairing it or bypassing it, but will that work for dumping the drive? if the trace is cut in the areas if i wired it up to bypass would i run that wire to the switch then? _________________________________________________________

Got it all sorted out now, found another point that connected to pin 101 and used that and worked fairly well, also bridged to that point when i put the traces back together. _________________________________________________________

these drives can be a pain sometimes lol the ones i seen some people try to do them selves great job bud atleast you got the ofw so if anything even goes bad now you can just put another lite-on in there and away. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

If you have a lowes near you digital you can pick up a Lite with magnifying Glass on it for $13-20 im sure menards would have one too. I got mine from lowes for $13.00+tax and best investment i could ever do cus i do not cut the traces to deep and also make smaller cuts then ones you see on the pictures on the internet. then i just use my maximus vampire to extract the key solder the tiny cuts back up as i only make 2 cuts and then erase drive and flash _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!
yea i should look into one of them, would make things so much easier than straining my eyes to keep focused on such little things lol _________________________________________________________
