it had a good run, and id just like to say thanks and good bye! i still use xbmc on my laptop (altho lately its been a bit laggy with some videos) ill be sure to update mine to the latest build and wish the team the best of luck with any further endeavours!

Yeah, sucks that its gone, but I am sure there will be more updates as the source code is Open-Source and that one of the XBMC members are taking on the challenge to try keep things going. _________________________________________________________

yeh i still have my original xbox 1 which you did up for me hobbs..
But i love everything in HD now.. The 360 even makes an older television look so much better then the xbox 1 but hey, xbmc owned in it's day!
I love the auto intaller deluxe which DJB wrote too.. it was easy to use..

I love XBMC, it was inevitable that it will end someday.
The only problem is the CPU power which makes HD impossible but i still use it to see the normal dvdrips.

yep, Im using T3CH release too which is included in DJB's HQ Auto Installer Deluxe.. It kicks butt..
Shame about the CPU power like you say, It's the only reason i don't use it as much.. Everything i have these days is HD..

what is a good media player for hd stuff because im sure my lappy can run hd but i find xbmc too glitchy, vlc is less so what do you recommend? i use to use media player classic but it lacked an easy to set up play list.
