Ok guys, IW has been really good at fixing glitches so have a little fun with this one while you can. It also works off line in splitscreen mode so if you wish you can do this with a buddy to see how huge a pile of care packages you can create from air drops.
This Glitch allows you to have an EARNED care package or Emergency air drop reappear in your set up after you use it up.
First you need a decent set up. Each time you do this glitch you will have to sacrifice one special grenade, be it smoke, flash or stun it does not matter, but you have to use one up each time, so unless you count on dying quite a bit I would suggest having Scavenger turned on so you can resupply on the go. If online I would suggest going ahead and equiping coldblooded and ninja pro so you have a better chance of not being disturbed.
Ok so you are all set and ready to go.
First set up your killstreak so you get ither a care package or emergency air drop.
Now before you can start you have to actually earn a legit kill streak high enough to earn your Package.
Once you have your package, find a safe spot in the map that has an object that you can climb on ( when you stand against it you get the message that pops up saying "press A to climb") such as a short wall, box, car etc...
OK now... press Dpad right to choose your package then hold the right trigger to make your guy pull the pin and cook the package nade but do not throw! just keep your right trigger held down for the entire process, dont let go.
Now stand against climbable object (still cooking right trigger) and press A to climb, Just as your guy reaches the top (but is not done climbing) hold down the LB (thus causing your guy to pull out and COOK the special grenade.) also you are still holding down right trigger.
Now your guy is standing on top of object cooking special nade, now press right ONCE on the D pad to turn off your main weapon so when you throw the special your guy will automaticly go to his package rather than gun.
Now let go of LB to toss away the special nade, no your guy should switch to the Package nade rather than his gun.
if so..toss your package to call it in now.
At this point your Dpad icon on you bottom right screen will show your package as gone now/empty.
Go pickup and USE what ever was dropped, once done, you should see the Icon for carepackage/emergency drop reactivate.
Now you can do it again.
Make sure you have a special nade or it will not work. so after doing it 2 times you will need to find some supplies or respawn after a death.
Also on the emergency air drop, you only have to use one of the packages for your Icon to come back. so if helping out the team I would suggest picking up the simplest and quickest package such as a UAV. and leave the rest to the team to use, the more they have to use the better chance you have to be left alone to do your glitch while they keep the enemy occupied.
I would suggest going into an offline split screen match with a second controller to practice doing this before trying it online.
Some people get upset when the other team uses this glitch, But at the time I was working on my Stinger challenges, so I was able to shoot down many helicopters in one match, which helped me out quite a bit. Maybe you could get in a cage match with a buddy and let him call in stuff for you to shoot down to get those challenges quickly, This would be a good way to get that Turret called in challenge out of the way quickly as well.
So to recap,
Cook package ---->climb and LB cook ---->Right Dpad once----> toss special then toss package---->Use package--->Repeat as needed and dry with soft towel.
