The DC was the console of firsts bud
First next gen console released (back in PS2 days that is)
Better graphics than the PS2 (Shenmue looked like an animated movie the first time I saw it)
First Console to have online multiplayer
First Console to have Web Browsing our of the box
First console a fair few PC developers made a game for, I.D. Games for example.
Although it is unconfirmed, I reckon it was the DC that helped get the Xbox off the ground.
MS saw the huge hole left by a major manufacturer leaving the market place, also the help they gave Sega to develop the DC helped them launch into the Console industry.
And look what it gave us.
A white tower of power that we are all here to talk about.
The 360.
By far one of the greatest consoles ever made.
BTW if you havent guessed, I loved the DC like I love the 360.
You know as much as I love the dreamcast I never even knew about the zip drive! _________________________________________________________

I wish I still had the Dreamcast, one of the best consoles ever made. Shame it had no development support.
