Dang Hobbs, you should get that simplified into an easy too hook up device, get a Hong Kong Manufacturer and start selling those babies on ebay. No Joke.

@ comp1demon,
I would take a picture for you mate but unfortunately i lost my MOBILE CELL PHONE and LAPTOP just the other week and have nothing to take pics sorry.. ..
If you look at the GHWT MIDI circuit board you will see where the pedal is connected on the daughter board. I have mine setup to run both 1/4 and the normal GH pedals as well.. Personally i prefer the GH pedals to the loud and noisy ION pedals i got with it.
Also, there is alot more too it to get a ION pedal working since it is setup totally different to a GHWT pedal.

That's all I'm pretty much waiting for now too, to have my ION pedals compatible with the GHWT box.
I'm actually on the different side of opion to Hobbs, I love these ION pedals. The WT pedals are ok, but I think the ION are a lot more durable.

I am not using an ION PEDAL (which is an ON OFF pedal).
I want to plug in a KD8 which is a PEIZO trigger, just like the GHWT pedal. But I want a 1/4 inch, no adapters - for cleaner connection. I followed the tracers and they make no sense..
can anyone point out which 2 solder points are for the 1/8 input on the midi PCB so I can solder a 1/4 inch port.
I will upload pictures.. just save them use MS PAINT to circle which points I need to use.
Thanks.

This is where i have connected my 1/4 phono jack.. Hope it helps..
I have gone back to my original GHWT pedals isnce my ION drum pedals are already broken and were a nightmare to get working..
Let us know how you go.. Keep your topic active and hopefully some of our other electronics guru's can help!
Thanks for the Circles, but that's two many points. I guess I will have to play roulette with those 5 points to figure it out? There has to be two specific points - which two?
Thanks

Dude, im at work.. trying to give you a rough idea. I dont have it infront of me.. It's pretty obvious where to soldier the points to mate.. It's just trial and error.
Well the circle shows the area where you need to test to connect.
Jut soldier two wires and test it with your kick pedal. Sorry i cant help further but im just so busy its impossible for me to keep my mind on one thing. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:
