Isn't it possible to use the rock band drums to play on guitar hero world tour?

yes it is.. And i rate the Rock Band Drumkit.. Its unbreakable so far..
If you use the Rock Band Kit on any GH games it will drop a color.

Arvas has broken both of the bass drum foot pedels on his rock band 1 and 2 drum kits.

My rock Band Drumkit is still working just fine and never broke until some big fat bastards kept using it.. lol.. hehhahehe

I ended up replacing my foot pedal (which i DID NOT break) and like i said its unbreakable now.. It easy to replace the pads too if you want to..

btw.. im fixing my GHWT kit but im going to save for a ION drumkit and then hardwire it into my GHWT wireless kit.. That way it will be 100% compatible with all guitar hero and rock band. Smile

Yea i had nothing but problems with my GHWT kit too, its over at hobbs place right now hehehe.

The Rock band kit's pads are a lot more durable and better built, however i dont like the feel of the kit.

I just imported a ION Drum Rocker from the US after hearing so many good reviews about them. Since I'm a real drummer too I feel this is what I need.

This is where I got it from if anyone is interested:
http://www.siglermusiconline.com/

The nice thing is they do have good customer support (from what I've experienced anyways) and they will ship internationally (in my case Australia).

I'm starting to seriously think this is the way to go., both GHWT and RB kits suck lol.

I think it's just the way I hit my pedal, as I play real drums, and I'm used to metal bass pedals... this plastic stuff is terrible...

And I'm off again!

Same here.

The Roadie U Pedals which I use now are excellent. They are full metal, two strips of velcro so it doesnt move, and has great sensitivity.

Out of the 3 pedals I've said (GHWT, RB, Roadie) the Roadie wins hands down. Unfortunately I think you can only use these ones with a Rock Band / ION kit.

Yeah, the omega or destroyer now have GHWT pedals though

From what i hear the destroyer pedals are supposed to be the best, however i cant complain with the roadie u.

good example, "my curse" by killswitch engage on expert (RB DLC) I was managing to do nearly all the bass kicks with the one pedal. Of course it would be a hell of a lot easier with two, but this just shows how much better after-market pedals are.

i'm just happy that the ion does come with a roadie u pedal as well, so now I have my 2x Roadie pedals ready to go (I got the double bass coupler with the 2nd pedal).

Unfortunately, my partner is making me wait until my birthday which is the start of next month until i can unpack the kit. I've had the 2nd pedal for about a week now and its definately worth it.

Yeah I was like that once I got my destroyer, could hit the really fast double bass notes in Prequel to the Sequel! still can't get past the blasts in that song but still, I was impressed how much difference a pedal does make.
