To answer one of the most common questions (What pedal should I use without paying hundreds for a kick trigger?), for the money, I recommend the "Destroyer Pedal", which gives zero double-hits, it's metal, and it's great for using heel-toe with. (Better than my DW5000, actually, due to DW's short footboards.) You can get it at http://www.rockbandpedal.net/ Note: Only the Destroyer-D is compatible with GH:WT.
Officially Sponsored by http://www.rockbandparts.com - The best product, best warranty, best prices. PERIOD. Destroyer Pedal, ION Drums, and MORE!
So I was going for this FC... and missed a red note. One. Figured it was still a decent video to put up. Taking a break for now, hopefully I can FC tomorrow, though I have trouble with Verse 3... _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

Actually just checking out that shop advertised, they do ship internationally, i'll send them an email and see what they say.
BTW I'm not 100% sure if it's an ION kit or not, it looks different, you'll notice the GHWT kit sitting next to it aswell.

I have the IONs, that isn't. He uses a Roland TD-6 SX-T electronic kit that he modified. You can now get a Midi Rocker or similar to avoid modding.
He hasn't FC'd Visions yet, but i'd still call him the best drummer.

I'd want to use it for both RB/GH and also real drumming.

Yup i'd say it was worth getting for sure, I'm much better on them.. I use them for RB and GH (PS3 Version) only problem is you have to unplug the cymbals for GH otherwise the controller keeps disconnecting in game. You only have the 4 pads in game anyway and not the 5th so it doesn't matter.
Yeah I am going to buy the upgrade kit or a standalone brain at some point, I wanna learn the drums
I also got the Destroyer Pedal, which is awesome, can hit fast stuff much easier.

Yea I saw the destroyer pedals, and they do look very nice indeed
However I still cant complain with what comes with this kit, it's a good starting point. I can always upgrade the kicks later.

Yup the original pedal is pretty good actually, I had ordered the destroyer at the same time as the IONs though so didn't stick with em.

I just like the fact they are more professionally made than the RB / GH kits, and will be obviously more reliable.
Put it this way, I've heard and read about the IONs now, and I've never heard anything bad. Plus I'm starting to see more and more videos on YouTube with drummers using them.
The biggest seller for me is being able to use it as a standalone electric kit, I've played drums for a good portion of my life and have a few friends that do play instruments aswell (for example my partner is guitarist, her friend is a bassist, and her friends partner is a singer). And ofcourse, not forgetting hobbs who can play a few instruments aswell.
Just doing shipping research into it, I've found a place in the US that says they ship internationally, but I still have to find out if they do ship here or not.
