Guys I totally miss it, my favorite game ever.
Shenmue 2 wasn't so good as the first, but as game of 70$ Millions for a console that sold 35 Millions the profit wasn't good enought for the second version be at the same level.
I still hope that Shenmue 3 will be out for an xbox in the future _________________________________________________________

I have my dreamcast somewhere in my house, I lost my Shenmue I third CD so I am downloading it. ( n
My dreamcast had some reset problems and i only found today on the web in wrote tutorial to fix it.
I am going to try today just because I want to play Shenmue 1 again (emulators is not the same, always have slow downs)
Its a shame Dreamcast died the problem was the abuse of piracy cause in Dreamcast you dont need to modify it to play backups _________________________________________________________

For those who are still fans of the series, you should come help out at the Shenmue Myspace Campaign. It's more than just a simple petition for Shenmue, it's a full barrage of fan based media directed at Sega.
We have links to the OG petition with 58,000 signatures
We are the group that mailed over 7,000 toy capsules to Sega of Japan
We are supporting sites that are translating Shenmue into other languages

What do you mean A BIT. Shit man I got you onto the DC in the first place (remember Charlestown). I swear that my DC didnt get turned off for 17 days straight during the 2000 olympics.
Honestly the DC had far better graphics than the PS2, far better games as well (crazy taxi, shenmue, quake 3, Worms Armageddon etc etc etc) It was the first system to have web browsing out of the box. The first system to have online play. The first console to let you plug in a keyboard & mouse for gaming (i used to dominate at quake 3 on a keyboard & mouse). The memory card (VDU) was a very impressive idea, but it was the last console that Sega made.
Why's that??
They spent $70m on developing Shenmue, $300m developing the DC, but they sold a small amount of consoles outside of Japan. They poured so much money into the Dreamcast (and it shows) they went broke soon afterwards.
I still fire mine up every now and then and have a game.
Back on topic. I seriously doubt they will make Shenmue for the 360. Sega cant afford the money it takes to develop a game of this calibre. That's not to say they never will. Yu Suzuki will make sure it happens, when it is more economically feasible for them to do it.
(In case you cant tell, I loved the dreamcast) _________________________________________________________ Mattster
I recently just got a dreamcast back off ebay because its been years since I played it. I'v always had the shenmue poster I got from a guide book I bought for it I think on my wall hoping that shenmue 3 would come out, but sadly no luck thus far.
You should have the never played option because I have never played it since I don't have a dreamcast. _________________________________________________________
