Hi guys,
Just wondering.. How come some games which are very popular dont ever come out as a special edition or collectors edition like oblivion or perfect dark on 360?? huh??
I would have loved to purchase a CE/SE battlefield 2 and maybe some other newer titles when they come out too but am just wondering how to check??

The PDZ collectors edition wasn't that great really, the oblvion one however was well worth the extra dough. I think it needs to be a game that has a lot of backstory such as the dooms and halos and such, quake would have been a good one to have a collectors edition. I guess really the main idea behind collectors editions are to squeeze ever so much more money from the consumer. _________________________________________________________

Well for one thing its a way for the development companys say Bungie, to make extra bucks for adding in somthing easy to ship extra with their product. With Halo 2 it was a Dvd, same as PDZ (with bonus content)... Im sure they only do it with the games they think will be the BIG hit of the year, or w/e (highly anticipated games). I kno Prey a 360 game is going to have a special edition to it as well
