Hopefully you should all notice an improvement in loading times and page sizes.. LegendaryFire mentioned to me that the site was not using GZIP, (which i thought it was working), so i tweaked and it is now functioning.
As always Hobbs you are on top of the game bro, i was starting to notice the page times dragging out and becoming a huge pain to wait on.
Today i was amazed at what seem to be the load times cut by well over half and then saw this post, killer job man.

This should help lower the bandwidth as well for the short term. Close to 1500 GB for just HTTP traffic. Database traffic is all on private lan so it does not factor in to the port 80 data transfer.

Thx for the feedback mate.. 360-HQ is the only site i have shrunk down so far.. I will do my best to get onto xbox-hq soon. I really can't notice any improvement myself, so I'm hoping it really improves overall for everyone else.

I also have plans to crush .css and stuff to whenever i get time.
Just been doing way too much work lately to get anytime for the HQ's.
never fear, I always try my best to keep our community at 100% speed.
I myself have noticed that the part that loads near instantly is the main HTML page, it's mostly the images which slow it down in the first place I'm guessing! _________________________________________________________

This month alone we have had our best ever day, month and hourly visits.. Ever since i updated to GZIP the site traffic seems to have doubled and now you have done this.. Wooot.. should be interesting!
