Hey guys, I was bored yesterday so I decided to paint a spare case that was taking up space in my closet, I also added a plexiglass window as well.. To keep things short and sweet I sanded all parts with 600,800, and 1500 grit for starters, then I added 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of Dupli-color metal specs, and 3 coats of clear coat.. Basically waiting 30-45 minutes in between coats then I let the third coat of clear coat dry overnight.. The case looks like it came out of a body shop, I was really surprised how nice it turned out.. My last step is to use some 3M cutter polishing compound and some 3M wax to add the final touches, just going buff the shit out of it.. Carefully of course, I don't want to damage the clear coat..

I'm going to use this 160gb WD Scorpio I modded a few weeks ago with two red hd activity led's. I've got an idea for another one of my 360's but I'm going to use the Blue Metal flake with a different type of cut out..

Hobbs thank you brother, I've got the led's all ready to go by the way.. The only problem is that they are a combination of blue and red led's from my other 360, I would like to stick with red so I'm changing the blue ones out.. It looks like its the same paint, maybe it just looks s darker because of the plastics darker base color, where the main case is white and shows the color as brighter, ither way, I think it looks good with the sides darker.
No man don't get me wrong i like the red, i liked the RE SE case they was showing, i just thought the darker red sides was a cool touch but didn't know if it was just the lighting.
