My 360 just died! It has been workihg perfect with no problemsfor the past 3 months and now it won't paly any games including demos off the drive and regular 360 games!
It just loads shows the startup screens and sometimes says can't read source and sometimes is just hung. I think it overheated and something in the higher video fuctions is screwed.
The menu system works fine and you can use XBL and add or remove from drive, play music and watch videos but any game and even the Live games do not work. This just happened to day.
I accidentilly left the 360 on overnight. I can't believe it.

I will try it tomorrow night and see what happens. I hope Microsoft will swirch it out of it is borked.

if they dont fix it just take it apart and get rid of all the dust inside and maybe thatll help. my xbox 1 didnt work right till i got everythin outta there lol. also make sure ur 360 has air coming to it _________________________________________________________ XBOX

HI, Well I have treated the 360 with the utmost care. It has it's own space with nothing around it and lots of open air. No rugs or other devices anywhere near it. Never been dropped. Never had a problem. Not hot in the house. Should not have much dust yet being only 3 months old. SAD. SAD. SAD.
I will completely clean it out if Microsoft doesn't take car of it. Maybe even make my own cooling system for my next one. I plan on having at least 2 anyway but they are supposed to work.
Edit: The only mistake was leaving it on all night and day. I forgot about it because of all the server and site moves. The next one will have the auto shut down mode on. MAN! CRAP! POOP!

haha damn oblivion. anyway my friend leaves his xbox on all the time for weeks on end. the only problem hes got it the fan in the power supply makes a gay noise. lol _________________________________________________________ XBOX
