Hell, here in the US they just walk across the border with out even asking permission, walk into the Welfare office and they are set, even free college.
I would like to go back to school, was thinking about applying for Citizen ship in Mexico, denouncing my US citizenship to become a 100% mexican citizen then sneaking back across the border and demanding my free college.

It almost sounds a plan doesn't it.

That sux dude. With that english test and all because trust me there is a lot of people here who can hardly put a sentence together.
Hopefully one day you'll get your dream happening.
If Div is from UK and he fail that test, imagine a guy like me from a non-English country.
Unless Div has mental retardation which I doubt since he is a Software Engineer _________________________________________________________

The test comprises of Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking. Got 8.5 in all but the listening, which i got a 7 for. You now need 8's in all of them (previously you only needed 7's).
I am from the UK, the test is more for people from non-english speaking countries but it's compulsory for everyone to do the test.
Anyway, i'd miss the rain if we went to Aus _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

Well, me and my wife are not ones to give up. I re-took the English test last week (will know the results next weekend) and I got state sponsorship from Tasmania.
Think I passed the test (gotta get 8's in all 4 areas), understood how the scoring and tests work better this time round.
As long as I passed the English test we should be good for a visa.
If I don't get good enough scores in the English test, that's £2,000 down the drain _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

Well i didn't pass the English test, points were just under in one component, but i did manage to get my qualifications assessed and that has got me enough points to be eligible for a visa
Had my police checks done, and it was all fine, surprisingly.
We have all had our medicals (cost another £850) and just awaiting the results to be passed onto the Australian immigration department, but expect no problems there.
If all is ok, will have my visa within the next month hopefully as we are going state sponsored, Tasmania. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
