As far as your tv goes, It sould look just fine.
to set your router signal strength, first get on the net and put this in your address bar 192.168.1.254 then enter.
that is the IP address to your router.
when you get to the router page go to the top and click on "HOME NETWORK."
now go down to the right bottom of this next page and click on edit settings in the wireless box, You will then be prompted to put in your password. you should have picked one when you set up your new service with ATT, if you dont know it or remember you will have to call att technical help, in my experience they have been very pleasant and easy to work with. The pass might be your att email login password in some cases.
Now you will be on the Configure the Wireless Network page.
At the very bottom of this page, the last 2 boxes are Maximum Connection Rate and Power level.
you can change your MBS rate from 1mbs to 54mbs. I still have mine at 1 mbs and the other computer using wireless runs the net fine.
The power level (signal strength) can be set from 1 to 10, I use 1 and it works on the computer in the other room just fine, Also you dont want to make the power level higher than you need or you run a higher risk of neighbors sucking off your signal.
Hopefuly your router will be set up so people need a password to access your wireless signal.
If you have any problems getting the xbox to connect to the router call att they will help you out.
I remember when I hard wired my xbox to my router I had to go into the xbox options and put in a special wireless Ip and some other crap I cant even remember. When you get to that point just come back to this site and ask, or again Att support.
If you are ever asked for a 10 digit code at anytime it is the 10 digit serial code on the sticker on bottom of your router.
im not sure about the wireless adapter for the 360 as far as range. i have a wireless connection on my laptop and a network bridge to my 360 and im bout 125 ft from the router and have almost full signal and no lag on live. _________________________________________________________

on a sdtv should be fine - only concern is if it supports 60hz or not, otherwise some games wont play or will be in black and white. also would be worth finding out if ur tv supports RGB cables, pretty much the same as scart but does give a better picture then a standard av cable: (i havent bought of this site so i cant reccomend it RGB cables arent hartd to get a hold of!) http://www.consolesandgadgets.co.uk/catalog/xbox-360-rgb-cable-optical-output-p-2219.html
