If you need one more place to show off your gamerscore, how about putting your gamer card on your Windows® desktop? You can also feature those of your friends and rivals … so when you're deep in a PowerPoint presentation (*yawn*) you know when your archenemy just edged you out and can immediately fake a cardiac episode, cut out of work, run home, fire up Xbox 360™, and regain the lead. Not that we would ever do that. Ahem.
Here's how to get your gamer card (or anyone else's) onto your Windows desktop.
From your Windows Desktop:
1. Select Start.
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Double-click Display.
4. Select the Desktop tab at the top of the window.
5. Select the Customize Desktop button (at the bottom of the window).
6. Select the Web tab at the top of the window.
7. Select New.
8. In the Location field, enter this URL: http://www.360-hq.com/gamercard.php?tag=[insert your gamertag here] (make sure you only have your tag and dont leave the []'s).

im working on a script which is similar to all the other gamertag sites.. I will be converting the html into a .jpg or .gif image i would say..
its a evolving project now.. M$ will be looking at it for sure over the next few weeks i bet so i hope to have plenty of activity in our 360 site here.

yes and no..
Its using a IFRAME and ifram is a html tag.. Which can include the file on any website without a problem.. Im going to offer all our members a option to choose which one they want in their signatures.. Im currently using the same method as xbox.com..
If you wanted you could setup your entire forums to show the gamercards from 360..

From 360? My profile won't allow the iframe tag so i'll wait until you do a jpeg or something.

Hobbs, my man, you have outdone yourself this time. This network just KEEPS getting better and better every day. I think M$ would be stupid to not want to allow us to do what we want with the gamertags. Being a member of this site is a great thing and can enhance the Xbox and Xbox 360 experience for everyone.
