No not of women, got enough of them as it is Razz
Here's the deal, got a true M$ wireless adapter, but when I plug it in the led flickered. Checked the settings and it said it was not connected. So being the type of guy I am, I ripped it apart. Found out that there was a broken IC on it. Kinda looking for any info on it. I beleive it is the same as the other which states it's a AAI03 - whatever that means. Gotta go looking for specs if can. If anyone has info on it, can you post it. Don't need info on how to use it.
Thanks
Delta

No I believe he is talking about the Wireless network adapter. I was looking and couldn't find any high res images of the board itself.

Best of luck finding it though

Best Regards,

ya, it was the net adapter. It's a shame, because I know it was only the one IC that came loose. Boy looking at the soldering job on this, it's even a wonder that the led lit up red. If anyone knows of someone with a bad adapter, pm about the details. I'm in canada, so fleabay is limited. Don't want to pay the same price new by the time exchange and duties are involved.
Thanks, but keep on looking for me. I notice quite a few others have posted all over the net with similar problems. I can say that just 'popping it open' is quite the feat to acomplish without breaking the case. Oh, ya. I wasn't near the spot where the IC was off. I do try to pay attention at first attempts Razz

M$ said no, not to mention I cracked the case open to see what was exactly wrong. I was hoping that maybe it was the wireless attenna, but no luck there. It all started with the red light flashing,, but when I jiggled it, it went solid red. There I knew it was a bad connection. Tried another adapter from a buddy and it worked, so I knew it wasn't my usb port on the back. Tried the two front ports as well and same thing happened. So I'm looking at the board now, and the figgin IC is so small I can't read the number. Got a feeling it's fleabay time. I'm going to grab my stats and try the buy/sell here and hopefully someone will have a dead one as well.
