I just picked up COD5 tonight so will have to wait a while before picking up another new game.
I am interested in Far Cry 2 but have some questions on the Multi-player and custom maps.
I was a big time Map Maker in the old Delta Force Extreme on the PC.
First, I am curious if your custom maps are playable in multi-player. If so, is it coop or can you actually do a team vs team online match on your custom map? and how many players?
Also, how do you go about playing on a custom map online.
On PC games, you would find a site with a map you like, download it, then play with others that downloaded that map.
If I make a map, how do I go about getting a game going, do you just invite people and the map works for them, or do they have to download your map some how?
Also can people play your map in Multi-player online games even if you are not playing yourself?
I am very curious about how this all works on the 360. Making maps is a lot of fun, but its even better and more of a satisfaction to have other people playing your map. Its no fun making a map that you cant share.
anyone that has any info or experience please share. It will make a difference on whether I pick the game up or not for the 360.

I got this game and I havent looked at multiplayer yet.
But it has some really good points and some bad points.
Good Points
Awesome graphics
If you are shot up pretty bad you have to dig the bullets out of you (just hit LB)
Same with your car, if it is shot up pretty bad (starts smokin) pop the hood tighted a bolt and your back on the road.
Bad points
There is an insane amount of driving between gunfights.
the AI is a Dumb - no flanking, no team tactics
It isnt bad, but I'd suggest hiring before buying

I loved the original so ill more then likely grab this title myself.
The graphics in the original were great so i can imagine the next gen.

When you make a map and have finished everything with it you can upload it to the server and when people play unranked games they can download your map and people may play full games on it, when the game has finished they then can rate the map. I found map making quite fun and spent 3 hours making a map which still isnt finished haha . As for the graphics they are the best ive seen in a game and in single player you have over 50 km to explore but involves alot of driving from place to place which i thought was kind of boring after a while. But i suggest you rent it first as the campaign gets repetetive which is its let down but if your mainly concentrating on xbox live then its a rather fun game.
