Hello one and all!

New to the forums, but I have a really important question.

I have just picked up a xbox 360 from a friend. Basically he said if you can get it working you can have it. The DVD drive could read games nore could it open the tray. Now he did flash it with ixtremev1.4 and does not have the orginal firmware. This drive i a ms28.

So I head up ebay and get me another ms28. I attempt to flash with iPrep101 v006 and I can't complete the dSam section as it says BACKUP\xxxxxxx\xxxxx\SAM-OFW.bin No key

Basically I need the key from the old drive for this to work. Or so I presume.

So can anyone help me out?

Currently we only support firmware questions and discussions to our VIP members so if you want more help then please sign up here. It isn't that much and the value you get from all the HQ sites. (360-hq, psp-hq, xbox-hq) And it helps keep our network sites running because server bills aren't free.
