I was online last night playing Territories, King Of The Hill, Submission, and Annex and basically if you weren't chainsawing someone you couldn't get a kill.. I remember shooting a couple guys in the head with the shotgun with no effect then they would chainsaw me and blam i was dead! That was the second time that's happened to me, the matchmaking is also pretty bad.. Let's just hope they come out with a patch here soon.. I was wondering what everyone else's experience with GOW 2 online has been like. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

i am having the same problems with GOW2. I am not sure if its because of the amount of people using it, or because live has been bogged with updates.
I am really unsure how the live network works. when someone hosts the game are they using thier bandwidth or the server's? Yeah i hear you darth, i think i'll be going back to Gears 1 myself for online play until they patch things up with Gears 2, if they ever do.!!! You know they can learn a thing or two from the COD4 multiplayer or CODWAW servers. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

Ive got a few friends playing in Australia now and they said it was fine as long as all players had good pings. Im sure ill experience plenty of lag myself but hopefully not too much.

Yeah the lag sucks Hobbs but what can we do, the game itself is fun as crap it will be better once they get all the bugs worked out of it.. I hope you get the game soon so we can meet up online Hobbs, they even have a flashback map pack with the Mansion, Tyro Station, and Canal from GOW 1.. I remember in Gears 1 that stupid train on Tyro Station would splatter the hell out of me.. Yeah, i know i'm still a noob... _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

The only problem with GOW 2 is the shotgun, its way too weak now. _________________________________________________________

I'm sure the lag issues will be addressed with a title update very quickly. As for the lag I haven't tried online yet with the limited gaming time I've been having lately.
