Hi everyone, back after a long vacation, and i hope everyone is doing well. Ok, well i've modded my xbox and my psp, and emulated my laptop to play just about everything, but i'm bored again, so i want to move onto the 360. They are dropping in price so i figure what the hell. There are just so many damn tutorials out there, and they all seem to say something a little different. So i need some help. I reallyu just need pointed in the direction of a couple of really good tutorials. I was really planning on useing the blaster 360 method, but i was woundering if the Xeno top gear was the same thing, or at least worked the same? And with the blaster 360 do you need the connectivity kit? But if someone could just give me a link to the easiest way to flash the firm ware on both the hitatchi and samsung drives, (because i do not have one yet i do not know which one i will get.) As well as a good tutorial for how to flash useing the blaster 360, i would appreciate it a whole lot. Thanks in advance.

Looks to be the best one on the site. The blaster 360 connectivity kit is pretty easy to install and use from what I have read, although I have no personal experience using this method. But incase you need it here is the link. http://team-xecuter.com/blaster360/installblaster360.htm\
Hope I helped ya out man. _________________________________________________________
You also remember if you buy a new xbox from the store it will most likely come with a lite-on drive, which is not modable yet. You can get the drive key off of it but there is no custom firmware for playing back ups yet. _________________________________________________________

Yeah i know about the newer systems not yet being modable, just recently found out about that. But my plan is to buy new, but old. Get one new enough to have the hdmi port and falcon chip, but old enough to be moddable. But thanks for the links, and i will probably use the blaster method, just seams the easiest.

Well i could use a tutorial on how to flash the dvd firmware useing the blaster 360 to mod my xbox 360. Installing the blaster looks easy, i just don't know how to use it to mod the 360. Thanks again.
