if u have the serious $$$$ like me then u get xbox 1 for = classic games xbox 360 for media and ps3 for ultimate machine ....
i got 360 mainly only for halo 3... and that it ..... ps3 has more games..
so if u have $ then get both ....
I agree with getting both... but I disagree with the comment about PS3 having more games.... Xbox 360 has 22 games in the U.S., while the PS3 has ZERO (according to Gamefly).
I also plan to get both, but, while the PS3 may be more powerful, I doubt it'll make that much difference. Most consoles are more limited by their programmers and the imagination (or lack thereof) of their developers, not hardware horsepower.
I bought a Nintendo DS and a PSP when they first came out. The PSP blows the DS away, tech-wise, but I play the DS a ton more. Why? Because it's more fun... more innovative games.
I'm also planning on getting a Revolution. If ANY new console will be truly innovative, it will be the Revolution.
Where the 360 really excels is XBL... it's fabulous. I want to see Sony's answer to that. _________________________________________________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

Done the same! Bought DS and PSP and will buy PS3 (hesitant if no redesign) and Bro will buy Revolution (that controller!)
