Is this worth buying or is it just a rental, i went to Gamestop today and thought about buying this but hesitated because all EA games look the freakin same to me, probably no different then last years game or the last 3 years for that matter. I have heard something about a roster editing glitch. i would rent it first and wait for a patch to come out if you want to buy it. Me myself I have never been impresseed with EAs sports games.

Same here, i've never liked many of the EA sports titles except the Fight Night series.. I'm a big fan of 2K sports though, they have much smoother gameplay then EA games.. i also find my self looking at a ncaa game at gamestop and worndering if i should buy it well i find it lame that they cant use there real names ad that the gameplay gets boring after a while same thing with madden.i also like 2k better i hope they come out with atoher football game here soon. even though they cant use teams or players of the nfl present roster. madden u suck lol. _________________________________________________________

I have been playing 2k sports games since dreamcast and have to say the gameplay is more realistic than Madden. Madden is more for the casual football fan. I played madden o7 and could understand how you can complete so many deep bombs without the Ai adjusting to it. I am hopping 2k does make another football game cause I thought All-Pro Football was a great game and still play it today
