With the release of EA's September button patch for Fight Night Round 4 on the way there is sure to be a little debate over rather or not this will be fair in the online game play, cast your vote and lets us know ware you stand on this topic.
Come on guys casting a vote is easy but i want to know why you cast your vote, so leave a comment.
I would say its fair, because the control stick controls (from FNR3) were excellent and I prefer it over button mashing. Its not like the button mashers get new moves so I don't see how it wouldn't be fair.
I think its good that EA is catering to fan's wants of different control schemes but for people who like the control stick it doesn't really affect
I got to admit i was waiting to rent Fight Night 4 till they put out the patch, i like the stick format in online play but like the buttons in carrier mode.

button mashing in boxing is lame the hit stick is whats up, thats what makes it fightnight is the total punch control, however the haymakers in this fightnight irritate me

my biggest gripe on the button system for fight night is that it makes it too easy. When playing fnr3 using the total control me and my bro were pretty much masters at it, pulling of rediculous combos lightening speed, then when u have a noob come over and they use the button config and they pull out silly silly combos which just arent possible - the whole thing in 3 was the speed of it, it was so much faster to use the buttons - altho i think the whole new fn4 controls werent all that compared to 3 if the demo is nething to go by!
