What would yall think, if they added acheivements to the originall xbox games to play on the xbox 360? I think it would acctually be better, just because, that means more GS more money would probally be invested into the new games for the xbox 1 coming up to buy, until they stop making the games around 2012. Give me ALL of your thoughts !

I agree. I think it would be a great thing. I am actually kinda shocked that they haven't used the (somewhat) "backwards compatible" thing more than they have.. Still alot of Xbox games out there that they havent made available.

i think it's a great idea. it would bring 360 gamers to play their xbox 1 games again. I haven't touched my xbox 1 games, except halo 2, since i got my 360 when it first came out. M$ could use that to their advantage by releasing achievements for xbox1 games during 360 "game droughts" to keep gamers interested in xbox and xbox live.
terd777, i agree. M$ should take advantage of backward compatibility. this how they can do that.
are there certain games that should get achievements? or should M$ create achievements for all backwards compatible games?

I seriously thought they were going to release a additional version of halo 2 with achievements.. They did it for the PC didnt they?
Id love to play all my old xbox 1 originals and gain achievements.
I dont see how they could possibly code achievement in though without re-releasing the titles..

Yup I'm pretty sure, the Halo 2 PC version for vista is the only type of acheivements that you can get for your GS other than the 360 right now. But I'm gonna call Bill Gate$ tommorw and tell him what I think should happen, and he will get an extra billion, and hell he might give me that billion. (I WISH)

this is a good idea, and probably pretty easy for MS to do. You might just have to download an update before each xbox original game, so the gamers without live would probably be left out.
They should have halo 2 achievements like 10,000 games played, I would have got that achievement 2,315 games ago...
