hey guys could you help me out please if possible. Like i said in another post I am new to the Samsung drive side of things. all of my previous drives were hitachis. I got the ixtreme dopwnload from xbins, but its not just a firmware file...its a folder that says insert your original in the "correct place" and click "make firmware". I dont understand this...it doesnt matter where I put my orig.bin file, it keeps coming up with the dos window and tells me the same thing over and over about putting my orig.bin in the correct directory and press any key. Do I have to actually use this feature or can i go to the fw folder and just drag the ixtreme file out (there is two files in there ixtr12-i.bin and itrem12.bin). i hope that makes sense...its getting frustrating because I have not been able to make any progress learning how to read / flash a samsung. you guys on the site know that I will glady help people out in the future if someone would just help me out in this situation.

I just flashed a Samsung this morning, it was an MS25. I used the iprep method and it worked fine. What method are you trying to use? _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
