Hi All HQ Members
Came across this petition to the The Australia Classification Board and Classification Review Board, to let a fully uncut version of GTA IV hit the streets in Australia.
Please sign this petition. It is also aimed to get an R18+ classification for games like GTA IV that have to either edited or banned.
I don't know man, I think we have corrupted you guys enough with our hip hop music, baggy pants and our violent movies. lol
I would like to Apologise to all those countries whos kids now think they are black kids from compton.
Hip Hop did more to kill the USSR than bombs ever could lol
I think it would have been kinder to just have droped the bomb.

It's region free game_mattster so i wouldnt be too worried.. Ill be importing it for sure and not worrying about the AUS release..
Worse case scenario is that you have to get a PAL UK release. Atleast it will have the entire game and not some kiddy cut crap.
Ill still sign the petition for all the poor sods who cant think to import.

I have also heard (maybe one of you boys down under can confirm or debunk) thet GTA IV will cost much more in Australia than in the US. Here in the US it should be about $60, Not sure what the exchange rate is.
If this is true than maybe you can get the full version and save cash at the same time by importing.
Yep Australian games cost way more. (around 100$ US) I don't live in Australia but I have heard this from many people. the bad part about gta iv for me is I have pre ordered it ages ago (when they first announced 29th of april). then when I heard that they would be editing it I rang Game to get a refund. They told me that I couldnt because my preorder was over 3 months old. so I have to be content with the version that is released here.
The reason I have signed the petition is for the future of games in Australia. We need a R18+ rating to save games like this, bully and manhunt (all rockstar games) from being banned (or chopped).
Also a heads up for anyone thinking of bringing this game in from NZ. The version that New Zealand are getting is exactly the same as the version that will be released here. _________________________________________________________ Mattster

Hi Mark,
If your 360 is the PAL version then the UK version of the game should work.

Hi there I live in New Zealand. Where that dum cut down version of the game is going to be because of AUS and there dum rules. I havent pre ordered as of this and will not be buying it. Will the UK/US version work on my xbox? My xbox is a PAL version. Thanks

Going to look on net tonight for a place in the UK thats got GTA 4 full unedited kidy version lol.
GTA 4 looks soooooo mint on clips on youtube. Cannoty wait to get a copy and play it i just been playing Forza 2 last couple days.
