With the achivement's like "deflect 4 passes with one player", would you get this if you sim'd the game???

You can yes. Just supersim with 15 minute quarters then jump in with a few seconds left and you can get most of the achievements that way. So just start a game with 15 minute quarters then pause it and go to supersim and start it,then watch the clock and jump in with like 30 seconds left. If you have anymore questions just ask. I have 1000/1000 on Madden 2006, 2007, 2008, All Pro Football2k8, NCAA Football 07 and NCAA Football 08.

How can I get this achievement?
I get tackled about 50 yards out but I cannot choose to play a field goal. Only when the ball is about 30 yards out I can do it.

Ok 2 things, first thing must be said GO COWBOYS second thing is a 50 yard field goal is from the 33 yard line. That equals 50 yards total 10 for the endzone and 7 for the snap plus 33 = 50. hope this helps.

One more thing. when it says 'RUSH'. Does that mean the QB runnning with the ball?
I'm quite new to NFL, got into it late last season.

Rush is anyone who runs with the ball from behind the line of scrimmage. So your best bet for rushing achievements is to use the half back. just HB smash, HB dive or any kind of outside hand off.
