Count me in. Anything that comes out of HQ founders, will always be a good deal. _________________________________________________________
Personally I wouldn't buy those titles since I already have them but other newer titles that are going to be comming out are a possibility. Not to be a dick though, but would these be shipping from AUS or somewhere in the US and any idea on shipping to the US. Reason I am asking this is even if the game is a few bucks cheaper than going to a store if the shipping is 15 bucks or so than its not worth it most likely...just trying to put realistic approaches out there before you go and spend a ton of money FH....later. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.6

I would also love to support the community, but adding to the realism that yoshie pointed out...
Shipping would probably be the biggest concern. While expensive shipping would potentially raise the price up enough where it might negate any discount hobbs could reasonably give us, having cheaper shipping would extend the delivery time. And I don't know about you guys, but if you're anything like me, you want to be playing those new titles as soon as possible.
I'm not sure how taxes work into all this, since it's an international business...
Basically, what it breaks down to on both sides:
Hobbs needs to be making money out of this. Otherwise, what's the point of him doing it?
We need to be getting them at an equal or lesser cost than we would pay in our local store. I'm all about this community, but if I'm paying $10 more per game than I would be in the local Gamestop or Walmart, that's less money I can be spending on other games or beer. And that's not good for my business.
We need to be getting them at a relatively quick pace. I'm thinking 2-3 business days after the order is placed, tops. Again, I love the community here, but I don't want to be sitting around waiting while all my buddies are getting a week headstart at getting their boxers in Fight Night 3 trained up to beat my ass.
We need the latest selection of games. This goes along with the last point, but I'd like to be able to preorder games from here, just like I could at EB or another gamestore. This would even make it easier for Hobbs, since he would know how many (minimum) wholesale units he would need to order. And if Hobbs got his shipments early or on the day of release, he could pop them in the mail to us that same day (or earlier... [face_mischief]), and then everyone's happy.
There's a lot of wrinkles to work out, I'm sure, but no one ever said running a business was easy. If you ask me, those points above would have to be adhered to, or there's really no point to going through all the trouble. But if all that was in place, I would be more than happy to buy from here.

Put it this way guys.. I have plans to ship from both USA and Australia.
I have a very reliable admin who has offered to help me start this and it will definatley help with shipping out express to all you guys in the USA.
I will only be starting with NTSC (USA) titles and looking to sell to our USA members.. As the 360 gets release in australia i will get a few (not many) australian titles for our australian memebrs and some PAL (UK) versions too..
I dont want to make a million dollars like i keep saying so really all i need is a little support when i do make the JUMP to purchase. I understand what everyone is saying and have been thinking alot about it myself and its a big step for me but its just got to be done..
So to start i would only buy a few titles and more then likely ask what you all want first.. So i could purchase in bulk.. Then ill work out the best possible price for all parties (as you know i need to make some money) but you will all get a great deal..
As you all know the more you buy in bulk the cheaper the games become and therefore i can offer cheap pricing.. I DO NOT have a store or shopfront so i wont have any additional bills.. Thats the joy of it all.
Keep your comments coming guys.. Still waiting on final pricing.
I would say also it will be quite a few weeks/months before its all go because distributors are very lazy and dont reply emails (hahhah).
I cant see how i can go wrong really guys.. If i purchase the right games and ship them fast enough and cheap enough everyone will be happy and it can only grow.. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

Sounds pretty solid to me, hobbs. And really, any extras you need to offload can be dumped on Ebay and still fetch a pretty good price.
I'm definitely buying Fight Night and Oblivion as soon as I see them, but for the time being, any other games I will hold off and see if you'll be offering them.
Keep up the good work, man!

I dont expect anyone to hold off just yet.
Im still organising everything and will let you all know as soon as i can.
I wish i lived in the states as it would make things a lot bloody easier to organise things.. lol
keep leaving your comments and suggestions guys.. Thats exactly why i started this thread.. To get all your input and ideas.
FWIW, these are games I'll probably purchase when they become available:
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
Burnout Revenge
Rumble Roses XX
Tomb Raider: Legend
Moto GP '06
Test Drive Unlimited
Cromehounds
I've only listed games that have a tentative release date, so Halo 3 & 4 didn't make the cut. _________________________________________________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room
