I am working on a project and i am looking for a chip that is programmable for the usb. i cant seem to be able to find one that i can get for fairly cheap or dont have to wait for it to come in the mail, and i was wondering if anybody knew of something i could take a chip off of such as a computer motherboard bios chip and reprogram it or an eeprom chip that i could reprogram or is preprogrammed for this use. I was also wondering if the bios from a PC motherboard is the same as an eeprom, i think it is but i could be wrong. Thanks
(I posted this at xbox-hq also because i figured maybe someone might know that doesnt really go to xbox-hq, incase anybody wonders why i did this) _________________________________________________________
