Either one will work fine. You just need to check the back of your HDTV to see which connection it supports.. Im sure it will support both VGA and COMPONENT. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

Yeah, i bought the component because i think the vga is mostly for a computer monitor. I think my tv supports the cable as it has a HD part for the plugs with all those colors. But on the component cable there are like two red plugs and only one red plug on the back of my tv. I think i read somewhere that i only plug in one of those red cables? Thanks

Yes for video only use the cables which are together.. The RGB cable.
The other RED/WHITE cable is for audio if you dont have fibre optics.
HD VIDEO (RCA)
- RGB (Red, Green, Blue)
DIGITAL AUDIO (Fibre Optic Cable):
- Fibre Optic Cable (if you have a amplifier)
Ok, thanks. My game, Oblivion looks terrific. I set the display to 1080i and it is wide screen. Is there any way i can make it full screen without a loss of quality.
