I was thinking about this for quite some time now, i thought it would be interesting to know the history of the network, like how it formed, who made it, when it formed, ect.. i looked for an info link but didnt find one, maybe i missed it? _________________________________________________________

Well i think it started with xbox-hq, and was made in 2003. Hobbs made and keeps all of the hq sites running. That answer your questions? _________________________________________________________

Let's keep this simple..
I originally got into xbox 1 a little after the launch and wanted to learn how i could use a larger hdd or play import games on it. So, I went to a very well known site which we all know (x-s) and asked some simple questions.
Ive been apart of the SCENE on many systems including: C64, AMIGA, PC and Ive never had probs asking normal questions before but at x-s I was immediately flamed and told to use the search bar.. lol.. just like they do now.. I was actually pretty disgusted that they call themselves the scene and act all elite.
This pissed me off that much i wanted to build my own website to help all the other guys like me who were just learning. That's when xbox-hq was originally made..
I designed and built the entire site (network) and only started getting some help when my friend DJB finally bought a XBOX 1 after twisting his arm. Since then we start Auto Installer Deluxe and had alot of other cool members join up to our team.
I run the site myself still to this day with some help from news admins and mods but basically everything you see here is me. lol
I know get a life..
enjoy the sites ive tried hard for years to keep online so all you guys can learn all this hella cool shit.
Now thats what i was aiming for lol.. i think everyone has done a good job providing info about the xbox's and helping each other out.. everyone is pretty friendly too, first site ive really ever posted in the forums, always had a negative expierience with it. _________________________________________________________

I for one have got to say that I greatly appreciate all the effort you have put into this site hobbs. Without you and the great people that help out with this site I would not have a modded xbox. So my hat is off to you and thank you once again for starting this great site!!!!

I really dont think anyone realises that im the only guy who really runs this place.. Sure i get some help but if you knew how many hrs i have to put in to keep the HQ's running you would all fall over.. lol
Im trying my best to keep on top of our network even though ive been pretty sick the last few months.. Hang in there with me guys.
i can say that i did learn ALOT thanks to you FH and sevearl other members, but didnt you start with dreamcast? i belive you used to have a thread that showed an older generation system before xbox, idont know if you know what i mean? you showed it in a old thread. anyways kuddos to FH DJB and many more who helped. _________________________________________________________ |FTP|Useful Links| softmod vs hardmod questions

yes thats right i used to have a dreamcast website but thats was ages ago and well before i thought about xbox.
I used to own one of Australia's largest Satellite TV websites too.
I closed Sat-tv to open xbox-hq..
Im personally thankful for this site, i come here all the time and just read things, even things im not gonna need i read it anyways lol its always good to kno stuff, im here like 8 times a day lol _________________________________________________________
