I was just wondering how many people use the headset with live and how many do not.

I wired in my Plantronics Halo 2 headset from the Xbox as soon as I heard you could. Obivous though they are standard headsets! Just wire in a different one!! Sweet mod though makes COD2 much more enjoyable!

hey guys, i had the oficial 360 headset but after about a week of constant use it stopped working and the sounds were jerky, so i just did the same as xboxXXX and soldered my halo 2 headset into the grey connector thing which plugs into the controller, its much more comfortable and the sound is much better also.

I wanted to try and do what datel is coming out with, I removed the Gray dongle on the 360 controller and have yet to find a 3 pole female connector (2.5mm) to allow for any 2.5mm headset (including my fav halo 2 one) and just have a nice little device. But after I get the one from Datel to see the quality of their product, I might go ahead and use the one I was making, maybe the quality will be better. _________________________________________________________ XBOX v1.6

What do you mean wiring a connecter onto the wires coming out of th 360 plug? I did that (loose connections all the time) before I wired it straight in to the adapter plug thing.
holy crap im pissed. i had 2 headsets. 1 broke so i used it to wire in an xbox headset but that didnt work. so for a while i used the other headset i had but that broke yesterday. its such a piece of crap. seriously it so damn fragile idk how the hell they break. anyway right now im usin an xbox 1 headset but i get no mute or volume control. _________________________________________________________ XBOX

Ocassionally, if Its team work or Im talking to a friend. Other then that I dont bother because I always start shit with other ppl or visa versa...

I rarely use it if i dont know guys.. Well i do for BF2 but thats abuot it..
