I was Banned Today !!!!!
I checked all games they were all stealth patched and dmi was good?
I did play massefect and rockband a day b4 release so maybe thats what got me banned. hopefully It was because off early release and not fw flash
just wanted to let peeps know.

Yes I have a 2nd box but not flashed. dont know if i will yet I want to see if any body else is getting banned.

pokah, I would wait until more info has revealed, on how people are getting banned, before you flash your other one.

There definately seems to be alot of guys reporting bans but remember it could be old bans from the last logs they had too.. Who really knows.
From what ive investigated it seems like its certain game backups which are causing people to get banned. Call of Duty 4 and Rock Band all seem to be getting mentioned all too much while other guys who havent played them seem to be going fine.
We will all just have to keep our ears and eyes open to see what happens.

well the last game I played was rockband but then tried out mass effect this was 1 day b 4 release in U.S. I thought it was released cause eb games stated it was now shipping. have been playing the shit outta cod4 so its almost impossible for me to know what game it was. is there a way to read a log or somthing ? I just want to know if it was because of early release or just luck. I was running garyopia hitachi v2_3 stealth rev 2
If that helps anybody. thats the only one I knew how to do cause of vid tut so I may need help on next one. Im just trying to help everyone out and hopefully save a few heart aches.

Ive played call of duty since before it was released herein the UK and it was fine. ive also been playing guitar hero now for about 3 weeks and its not released until tommorow. had both originals and backups of the games working and its not made any difference, cant be because of early release or else youd probably be able to take your console to whoever released the game early and make them replace it as its their fault that youve ended up with a knackbox. Could be working through american accounts and then UK lol in which case im up the creek. Know of two other people who have played these games, no problems and seen them on live just before

I have been told they logged anyone who was on LIVE 3 weeks ago, that had a hack to there f/w would get banned. I have not been on LIVE for about 2 days now, and awaiting what to do, just trying to read up on if anyone has any more information.

hmm well ive been on today and ive not been banned... one thing i have noticed is that my gamertag thing has gone from the top right hand corner of this screen lol. I wont be going back onto xbox live until this is sorted tho dont want to be temptin fate. Wouldnt be end of the world if i did get banned as long as i could still play on my xbox offline. Only play FIFA online anyway...would consider maybe gettin another xbox with the HDMI output or maybe an elite as my old xbox is on its way out anyway. Anyway hope no one else gets banned cos its not fair really that people get their xboxs made defunct cos they want to backup discs...if ur just copying games or playin illegal discs then sort of tempting fate tbh.
