Hi everyone! I am 38 years old and have been playing video games since pong came out. It was way before commodore and atari even arrived on the scene. I have sinced owned every system that has come out here in the States since. I am currently playing on my 4th 360 due to overheating for no apparent reason. I could understand if my 360 wasn't in its own big air conditioned shrine. Anyhow I am playing Halo 3 and have finished legenderary on co-op and am currently playing team slayer and getting very much owned. I am a proffesional window washer in real life and am currently playing with the idea of starting my own business. Anyhow I joined HQ after expressing a very intense interest in modding my original xbox on the webpage and was then helped step by step over the phone by a member to mod my xbox! You can't ask for more then that! I am eternally grateful for all the helpful advice I have recieved from all you members and truly enjoy reading the HQ posts first thing in the morning over coffee. Anyhow I am starting to ramble. Peace and coffee....that is all the world needs.

Hi, my name is Mike and I'm 37 years old. I've been hooked on videogames since my dad brought home our first pong game, it was the coleco version. I played mostly arcade games for a while. I didn't get my 1st Atari until about 1982. I use to keep a duffle bag and haul to all of my friends houses so we could play. I've owned about every system advertised on American TV since, and still have most to this day. I got my son into gaming at the early age of 2 and he could beat the first few levels of Sonic the Hedgehog by the time he was 3. I got into collecting real heavy in the late 90s and at one time I even had 13 stand up arcade games, and about a 100 arcade boards, not to even mention all of the console stuff. Most of the collecting got started because I got into the emulation scene through a website called Dave's Arcade Classics and I think Mame had just come out with v27.
I enjoyed messing with the arcade games so much that at the age of 30 I went back to school and got a degree in electronics and changed carreers. I started coming to the xbox-hq site about 2 years ago and thanks to that site I was able to pack all of my old stuff away. I never like playing the old stuff as much on the pc as I did an actual TV with a console. I have visited this site ever since it opened. I don't get to game or post here as much as I use to but it is all for the best of reasons as I became a dad for the 3rd time and she turns a year old next week. Give her time to get the controler in her hands and I will have a Full house of gamers as I was finaly able to convert the wife thanks to the Wii. But the Xbox and 360 are still my favorite systems.

Hey Guys and Girls
My names Tom to all who don't know me already.
I started gaming back in the day of the Atari (got it the day it came out in Australia) and also when I was throwing coin after coin through the arcade systems (Oh...Wait I still do that occasionally) after which getting Sega Master System, NES, Sega Mega Drive and SNES with all the Sonic The Hedgehog and Mario Series.
After regretfully selling off my old consoles and games I upgraded to the PSX and N64 after which I bought a PS2 due to the amount that I had thrown into the PSX.
Mid last year I managed to pick up a Gamecube for nothing with Mario Party to add to my growing amount of consoles.
Late in the year I traded all my PS2 gear and made the leap across to XBOX 360 and haven't looked back and also bought myself a pre owned XBOX (which I should have done years ago)
Other than that I love Car Audio and compete with my GF in many competitions.
I am a mad Sonic The Hedgehog fan and if anyone gets their hands on any Sonic stuff and don't want it I will probably take it off your hands.

Im 30 yrs ive been playing video games since they days of the 2600, I had every system ever made except the ps2 I wasnt that empressed with PS1 and I thought the graphics on dremcast were better so I never switched over. I found the HQ when I wanted to get started modding my xbox console everyone was so helpful that I stuck around for a while. Im really like sports games but since joinin the HQ I have really enjoyed playing shooters with fellow members of the HQ.
Well i'm 15 years old, and my first game console was a NES, which my mom got from her boss for free when i was 4 years old. I played super mario bros like crazy until i was 7, and then i wanted to buy a playstation. My mom made me sell the NES to get the playstation (regret that, because it had a bunch of games, even the original box!) and i still have that one. Fast foward about 5 years. Bought a n64 from my neighbors and got me hooked on nintendo, which led to me getting a gamecube. From there i bought these (in order): gameboy color, gameboy advance, gameboy advance sp, ps2, nintendo ds, xbox, SNES, xbox 360, NES. To say the least i've got a lot of game consoles, and i play them all.
What got me started on modding was halo 2. Ever since i bought my first xbox in june 2006 and got xbox live in september 2006, my friends and i wanted to mod halo 2. One of my friends friend over xbox live had a softmodded xbox which he used to mod halo 2. Well he told me to look for SID 4, and i got the files and used my mechassult disk to softmod my 1.6 xbox. Then it went to chips and everything else, needless to say im modding halo now lol.
By time i got through installing all my chips and softmods i knew so much i could answer a lot of questions on xbox-hq, so i stayed around there until july. Then i slowly started moving over to 360-hq.
Long story short, i like games a lot and i like these sites a lot _________________________________________________________

Sup everyone i am Scarface aka Andrew i am 22 but will be 23 in 3 months lmao. I been playing video games since i was 6 or so and started off with atari 2600 i think it was then atari lynix handheld system which i still own with about 25 games. Then moved into nitendo, super nitendo, Sega and so on and so forth tell i got to the xbox 360 but never owned a ps2 sorry playstation just didnt really like it lmao prefered my dreamcast over that lmao. Anways ya i love to game, fish, hunt, and party since i dont have kids or anything like that now i dont need to worry about not partying so much lmao. COD 4 FREAK!!! If you down add me and will get some really good games going.
