Well to share music you can use Windows Media Player and turn on the sharing options so that your xbox 360 can find it.. You may also need to install some microsoft software updates for this to work. WM9+ only im sure..
Other then that you could use a great free program called TVERSITY.. It will stream videos, music, webcasts, whatever to your 360 via your pc.. It will also transcode/convert any movie that the 360 wont play..
I use TWONKYMEDIA Server since i have a NAS Sever.. Whats a NAS SERVER i hear you ask?? This is the NAS Server i have which streams to 360 straight out of the box -
