cool hills, make sure to add me when u get ur box, im real busy right now so dont get a lot of gaming time but once i become a famous rock star ill have all the time in the world to play xbox lol! seriously tho music is consuming my life atm, i got my first achievement in a month the other day and it was only a 20g on virtual on, recording songs takes too much time, as an example it takes me about 2 hours to program a drum machine so its perfect, then takes me 2 hours to nail the rythm track, another few hours possible days to write and record the lead guitar track, its taken me 4 months to learn to sing and i still aint that good, that takes about half an hour to record cos thats the final part i do usually, then the mixing involved making sure everything is sounding good at the right levels, then the mixdown sorting out the eq, running a normalize compressor maybe a bit of reverb, then i check it all on my xbox to make sure it sounds good, but sometimes its a complete fail and cos my pcs are rubbish, im back to square 1 and have to start over the next day but thats usually quicker cos i have the drum track dealt with. Thats when i actually start recording - not including the time it takes to write a song practice it, get it in time, some of the songs im working on are nearly 10 years old and taken that time to develop, now im just getting some where. oh yeah then i have to email it to my bass player so he can add his bit! what ive done today was a waste as i have to start over tomorrow to make it all sound super awesome! god its so time consuming, my biggest achievement will be getting an album recorded thats worth more than all the achievements (or chiez as we call em!) in the world!
