Alright, well most of you know I've been looking for a 20GB/Cheap/Broken HD to swap my BEV 120GB in. I found a working 20GB with a memory transfer cable kit.
Can this be used as XCM's transfer kit? Is there a computer driver i can use or some sort of installation so that i can use the Kit to connect my HDD via USB ports? When upgrading to the 120GB, do i just drap and drop the hhdss file into the blank Harddrive or will i still need to boot it up in DOS?
And when in DOS, could i still use the same command to dump the hhdss.bin by using USB?
Sorry for all mash of questions lately, just need quick info and fast.
Thanks,

Does anyone have any ue or idea? I need to update my 20 to 120GB :X
Either this cable, OR i go get a SATA Daughter Board for my Mobo.. _________________________________________________________ Resource Forge Blog
I don't think this would work since it has no drivers for the PC. I have a VIA PCI card and its great. Can do the HDD's and the DVD drives. _________________________________________________________

Theres probably many ways to access and backup the data on your 360 harddrive thesedays but its been so long since ive done anything with the hard disk that i have no suggestions right now.
I have used the TALISMOON transfer kit (i think thats what it was) to backup data many times and copy it back! But its been well over 2 years now.

Thats the plan! Im okay with using PCI Board since i already have one, no problems on my behalf, but i also intend to gather info from other people's HDD, legally of course, but at the same time without removing the Warranty Sticker.
Any inexpensive direct 360HD readers out there? _________________________________________________________ Resource Forge Blog
Boo hoo. Well, at least i will only need to make an HDD once! Then its straight to transfers from here. _________________________________________________________ Resource Forge Blog
