Anyways, if there is something i need done and can't so or someone else needs done and i can't/won't do it then I'll be happy to put them in your direction.
Its appreciated bro.
Im pretty handy with a soldering iron and solder, I soldered these wires from chilifix to try and unbrick a hitachi. I didnt scrap the traces the first time and just soldered em side by side. But the Hitachi still wouldnt hit mode b, so I scraped the traces and tried again, looked like the picture does, just to find out the damn drive was dead. I was pissed, this was the hardest soldering I've done.
I've removed chips and reprogramed them before as well, but figured I'd give the chip a shot (won 100 bucks from www.consoleshop.com so I used the gift certificate to buy the chip).

that soldering is impressive by the way. i dont mind soldering and ive done my fair bit of it, but honestly i probably woudlnt even attempted that.
im curious about the chili fix though...let me know. and no comments on my setup??? either tell me it sucks or you like it, one or the other...

Joho, no the control board was dead so there was nothing to bring back. What setup are you refering to? I can do the dvd drive windows as well, with leds to light it up. Can do windows on the fan shroud as well.
Btw I'm going to have a tutorial for every service I offer, so if someone wants to do it theirselves they can. I don't want anyone feeling forced into paying for anything, if they are able to do it theirselves. Remember I'm giving the money made to the site, so pred if you do any work out of this thread I'd expect to hear about your dontation of the money.
Adding tutorials as I go, got a tutorial for adding a molex, and chaning out the circle of lights on your controller.
