Today i managed to upgrade my xbox 360 hdd from 20 (more like 12gb) to 60 gb by removing the shell case around the external hdd and fitting it with a hdd which is ment for laptops , just hocked up the xbox 360 hdd and the new hdd and copyed the files over
So for so good xbox live has not ditected modded hdd so it all good

Can you provide some pictures showing how much free space you have? Also what model of hard drive did you use?
I'm sure others have tried this, but were unsucessful, as the new drive was not formatted to be read by the 360, atleast that's what I've been told. _________________________________________________________

Hdd is used was - FUJITSU MHT2060AT
and then hocked bot up to computer used norton ghost to copy filles and settings

Great idea about the ghost, didn't think to use a bit by bit copy program, wonder why people haven't did this already, great idea again, I await the pictures. _________________________________________________________

That is what I am thinking. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but I would like proof, and if it did work, help everyone else out by posting a tutorial. I plan on trying this myself once I get a new motherboard.

I believe it can be done.. I think llama.com did a 360 hdd upgrade didnt they?? Check a link in our tutorials area someone maybe.. (sorry ive been flatout.. lol)
Im positive it can be done.. But i dont see how ghost would read it.
But hey.. its not like ive got the time to sit down and think about it.. lol hahahah

come to think of it i have in matter in fact heard that you can add an hd or external one but ONLY to put music and pictures but not gamesaves or somting like that......

Im inclined to go with you too gus.. I cant find any tutorials or information about anyone who has successfully upgraded the internet (addon) xbox 360 hdd..
