i have seen and read much about shadowrun, but i'm not convinced it's a must buy game. i may hold out and pre-order one of the numerous must-haves that will coming out between now and octoberish. i have read other forums where people who have not even played the game are calling it crap. i'd like to get an honest review from someone who has played the game. is the game as good as it's hyped to be? how's the online multi player? thanks, see ya'll

I enjoy it, but goto the local video store and rent it ad find out first hand. If you want halo or GOW then this is not it, if you like unreal tournament then you will like it. _________________________________________________________

Ya you can be diffrent races buy weapons, magic, and techs. Its pretty cool. _________________________________________________________

Its a very fun game, but I think you would play it heavy then be tired of it after a month, I like it alot but sure not going to pay $60 for it. will ither stick to renting it or buy it if it ever becomes a platnum hit under $30

Hey all,
Sorry for making this old topic come to life again but i finally had a chance to check out shadowrun and i must say i really enjoyed it.
Its not your normal First Person shooter at all.. lol
You have differnt kinds of magic, tech gear (including wings so you can fly about lol), and weapons like shotguns, SMG, Sniper etc etc..
The magic and tech gear is a cool feature although it does take quite sometime to get into it..
You have many different characters to choose from when you go into battle.
Dwarf, Troll, Human etc and they all react differently.. Human's are obviously the fastest on their feet.
anyway, ill be doing my best to get a review up once i know more about the game and play it a bit further.
One thing:
Its the only game ive ever seen where you must have XBOX LIVE to really play it.. It works out well. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:
