I have always been curious what gamers that are citizens of nations like Germany, Japan, Russia, Middle east, Ect.... think of playing games like COD, battlefield, medel of honor and just about every other millitary shooter that has you playing as an American, Brit or other nationality kicking your nations behind in a game. I would hate it if the only good games out there had me playing as a VC killing americans in Viet nam or as a japanese bombing my own countries harbor.
I know there are gamers on xbox live from all over the world and just curious if you guys get annoyed having to be the bad guys all the time?

Yeh it is funny really isnt it..
You can imagine lots of guys playing as american as I normally do myself.
It sucks being Australian as their isnt too many scenarios where we could have a war game moulded around it.. lol
Battlefield 2 is pretty diverse though. You near always have americans from memory but you get so many other nations to choose from too.

That was a really cool question. I have honestly never thought about that, just played the game and cheered on the US... Funny thing like that though, I went to see Pearl Harbor when it first came out (way back then), and a friend that went with us had two German friends with her... if you remember at the beginning of the movie they cut to a scene of someones desk and there is some kind of hitler statue and he was bent over with pencils (or something) stuck all in his butt... We all laughed at it but the German girls were seriously offended. You never know who you are going to tick off. Great question.

Very good question. I'm not sure on all games but i do remember reading that MOH Rising Sun (i think it's called, the one where the Americans fight the Japs) was one of the most popular series releases in........Japan of all places. Ya, I liked that one, remember how it ended with your characters brother being taken away in a plane off the japanese carrior? I thought they were going to make another game to cary on or complete that story. But dont think it ever happened
