when i try and get information from other forums other than this one.
i have a Wii and i was interested in modding it and when i ask questions they all just bash and tell me to do research, dont ask dumb questions, etc...
that is what a forum is for, when i have a bit of information that people ask for...i dont care if it has been asked 239057023489 times...i am more than glad to answer the questions extensively to all the knowledge i have. its my pleasure to do this, why arent other folks like that?
everyone here is so helpful and not D-heads...just wanted to say thanks for answering my questions here when i have them...it is very much appreciated, and I will always answer questions and share my knowledge when a topic arrises that i know about.

I can almost guess which forums you are talking about. I left those forums for the Hq network. You have to remember there are a lot of little kids on those forums that feel that putting down others makes them feel superior to them.
Whereas us here at the Hq network, are mostly compromised of older adults, and we will not have any bashing on our forums. So these forums are safe to ask questions that would get bashing on others.
Don't get me wrong, there are times I want to put up http://www.google.it.yourself.you.lazy.beep.beep.#@$@#$@#$#@.com.
But I hold back and do the right thing. If you haven't noticed I do my best as other admin's here at Hq do to answer any question or problem presented by our members.
So sit back and take solace that you are in one of the best communities for asking questions. Also if you have a Wii and want to know about it, perhaps I'll pick one up, and learn the ropes and ask for a branch off Wii hq.
Either way enjoy your stay and never fear asking questions.

the thing is that the Wii seems easy to modd, and i just had a couple of quick simple questions.
yes, i can search and search and probably find the answers, but its nice to get answers first hand from someone if you can directly.
thanks, maybe if we get a few Wii owners, we can at least make a thread and if it works up to it....and Wii Hq.
who knows and thanks again

Dont worry man,
Thats the exact reason the HQ Network was ever born in the first place.
I myself am not stupid and a IT Manager/Programmer and even i still need to ask questions too.
I got shot down in flames by the so-called main scene sites (which are useless).. So i said stuff you guys and created XBOX-HQ first.
My main aim was to enable any and all members who wanted to learn a place to accomplish that, and to meet some like minded friends.
All sites are only here to help new xbox 360 users realise the potential of their xbox 360 console... Like hopefully the upcoming Linux, Xbox Media Center homebrew and all the cool apps available which i hope will eventually find their place on 360. Dont forgot the gaming experience too..
Anyway, hope you enjoy all the hard work I and other admins/mods have put into our HQ Network here..
